Hello sir I have a Briggs and Stratton with 70% compression I change the piston n ring but has the same number (70%) n I didn’t change the oil pump. Do you think that’s the problem?

I had one of those today. Only it was because the lovely owner, put 250 hours on the engine without ever checking or doing an oil change :/ was a vanguard that should have 3 quarts of oil i drained about half a quart

lifesaver of a tip....use an air hammer/chisel and some sort of kubr to get the clutch and pully off...doesn't happen right of way but the vibrations allow the penetrant in enough so they just slide down.
