You’re saying two different things. First DCF doesn’t “charge” people with anything. Law enforcement does that. “No contest” is a plea made in criminal court not family court. You’re saying they all said that he should go home, but then you said they knew he couldn’t go home. There’s no such legal term of “parenting from afar”. Basically you’re arguing because the state will be paying for your son’s hospital long term care. Insurance companies will start giving you a hard time about premiums ect. when there’s a long term placement. The state deal with all that red tape you would otherwise come across anyway. Your SON gets the money, not DCF. You never said that anyone is forbidding you from visiting him and monitoring his care.
