@packthebus: PCT Day 3! 🥾 Waking up at my lake view campsite, I finally had a bit of sunshine after a couple days of clouds and rain! I took the opportunity to dry out wet clothes and even rinse my hair to freshen up a bit. This was a special day! Hunter is already taking his “mobile trail angel” job seriously by resupplying some of my food, surprising me with a BREAKFAST BURRITO and of course bringing Lola to say hello 🐾💛 He also dropped off my cousin, Aisy, who came out to hike with me for a couple of days! Having some company was a welcome change after a couple days of pure solitude, and we had a blast hanging out a camp and laughing through the evening over family stories and the texture of this freeze dried mint chocolate ice cream bar our grandma had gifted me as a trail treat (seriously it was actually good as long as you had water to drink with it!)
