We are working to become a zero waste + net zero carbon event by 2030 through Informa’s FasterForward program 🌱 14. Partner with r.cup to bring reusable cups to Fresh Ideas Organic Marketing place and various networking events. This year, we eliminated 29,600 single-use items, diverting 168 lbs of waste, and conserving 2,856 gallons of water 💧 23. We operate back of house waste sorting at Expo West to ensure every material gets to the right stream ♻️ 38. As a member of the Better Stands Program, we help and encourages exhibitors to ditch disposable booths in favor of reusable or recyclable structures 🏗️ 42. Our donation program gives leftover food + booth materials to local nonprofits every year — this year alone, we donated 163,547 lbs of food to second harvest food bank 🥫🤯 61.
