I have a mindset that I shouldn’t treat my coworkers as friends. I’m not sure why, but I prefer to see them as professional colleagues to maintain clear boundaries. That’s just my perspective. Does anyone else feel the same way?

I have 3 close friends in the office. Two were promoted and relocated to a different area. The other one moved to another company. We never competed for a promotion and supported each other. We even had a chance to go on a vacation with our families. It’s very rare to have friends in the workplace and I value them very much.

it depends. I have some of my best buddies met on previous jobs, but on my last experience, I also experience the worst bullying from workmates.

it depends, but for me now sa present work ko, Wala ako maituturing na friend don. tho oo, nakikipag kulitan ako, chismis. but office stays at office. Pag ka uwi ng bahay different na. I set boundaries too. call me plastic, but thats it. 😁
