An Iman can be wrong as an ai. I think we are allowed to ask for an advice but we should decide for ourself and not follow everything what is said. May Allah make every decision easy for us

if you use chatgpt, for no matter what, ask for links to sources and trust the sources, not the AI output

Nobody asking Gpt for fatwas brother, gpt elabporates certain topics which already have been fatwas on from olama'a, it just just brings up from source. Rule of thumb, to check the source, which is available if u as GPT

Good answer brother.. but I want to add as an IT person myself. Ai makes a search based on the majority of material. So if there is a question about ghusl(example) then the ai searches the most similar answers and then it gives it to you. Most of the answers are from the Hadith itself. Most websites has a similar answer so therefore it’s a as effective. It doesn’t have ilm, but it catches the most used answer. Try it yourself

You can always tell the ai to give you response from the Quran and Hadith and tell you the different scholarly views.
