@fragil3gg: do you ever wonder what the happy families you see are like when they get home? anyone who looked at my family would have been SHOCKED to know how much time I spent feeling scared, stuck, and sad. we looked so normal on the outside. then behind closed doors, my dad was terrifying and my mom was demeaning. I never slept, I lived in a state of constant anxiety and every step I took was on eggshells. by the time I was 6yrs old, adults would tell me, "awww you worry more than a grown up!" all the time. they'd say it in a tone that made it seem like it was a cute quirk for a child to have, instead of being something that should have been a concern. 🤣😭 #addiction #recovery #MentalHealth #cptsd #fyp
