I saw another video of a mom saying this same thing. Her husband pointed out, “while we’re wishing to be that couple on a walk, they are wishing they could be us back with the littles.” That stuck. It’s not our time to walk. Someday, just not now.

weekly date nights! you have to keep your marriage the central unit of the home! it has to take priority. it is so brutal with young ones and then the activities/sports take over as they age.

Mama, it will happen again. Mom of four here (27-18) and those roommate years are tough. But now hubby and I see those young parents and say wow…that went so fast. And I’m not saying I wanna go back, but man I do miss the hugs, kisses, and chaos.
