nope! it is not a fear of intimacy, I tried and tried and tried. then I became disappointed and now I'm at peace with my love and I have intimacy with my family and with my friends. I can get hugs and deep conversations from. when there seems to be a lot of people who don't know what it takes to be a partner of someone... and they're not willing to try.

I understand that these type of responses may not be intentional but habitual — but self awareness is critical here. I don’t want to play games. Minor scheduling conflict - no problem. The follow up then needs to be with purpose and transparency, if not, it’s not the type of connection I respect and seek.
