I have alpha gal and there is no treatment for it yet. Also all it takes is a bite unfortunately. Alpha gal will be the next endemic tick born illness. Wear your tick spray on yourself and your clothes😫

Doxycycline doesn’t touch Babesia or Bartonella. Ticks can transmit many pathogens besides Lyme

Yeah but most providers definitely will not prescribe after a tick bite unless it looks infected

My husband on Monday: Tick bite, bulls eye rash, fever of 101.8, flu symptoms, mouth ulcers… we live in very rural area. ER doctor was amazing, kind, quick… doxy script sent in, all better in 3 days.
