wait do fan actually treat Ryuga like an angel???? He’s definitely a tragic character, but he’s FAR from a good person 😭

Ryutaro DID say that Ryuga’s pride would be his downfall

i think he really did die but they made it vague cuz its a kids show. also i think its fine to have sympathy for the character bc its still a sad situation. like yes he brought that situation on himself but thats like the tragedy of the character. for ryuga fans the real tragedy is how he lost/ the fact that he really lost as the strongest character in verse b4 nemesis

In what way is Ryuga's writing ruined in Fury? At what point does making mistakes objectively constitute a writing problem? The fact that he broke the barrier is consistent with his goal, and his pride has always been present. Then, when he fought Rago, it wasn't just a matter of a desire for power; his emotions also caught up with him due to his past connection with Doji and his taunts. Finally, regarding the sacrifice, Ryuga clearly refers to the promise he made to Kenta at the end of episode 7 of Fury, which he has always remembered. This shows a Ryuga capable of relinquishing his goal.

In the final scene of Shogun Steel, we see what becomes of the former bladers, and in the last second we see a dragon-shaped cloud which most certainly symbolizes the afterlife in which Ryuga endures.

🐉 Ryuga's no. 1 Glazer 🐉 :
tbh he had it coming LMFAO. Although, I feel like deep down, he did know they were right, BUTTTT he just wanted to prove his point. His resolve is respectable, but overall his pride was always meant to be his downfall. Hey, at least Kenta got his acknowledgement though. 😭
