I can't really argue what your saying is factually wrong, but it's the most basic of a life. as much as life revolves around money, living an enjoyable life shouldn't. drive the big truck, drive the boat, have a big party. people shouldn't have insecurity about spending their money, none of us are getting rich on 9-5 jobs, we're all going to die eventually and you can't take it with you when you do.
