@emdottech: Give your PC a quick speed boost! 🚀💻 If your computer is feeling a little sluggish, this built-in Windows tool can help get things running smoothly again. Here’s how to do it: • Press Win + R on your keyboard to open the Run box. • Type dfrgui and hit Enter. • Select your drive and click Optimize. 💡 Tech Fact: The video mentions that this tool "reorganizes your data." While that is exactly what happens on older Hard Disk Drives (HDDs) through a process called defragmentation, most modern PCs—including the one in this video—use Solid State Drives (SSDs). For SSDs, this tool doesn't actually reorganize data. Instead, it sends a TRIM command. This tells your drive to wipe blocks of data that are no longer in use, which is essential for keeping your SSD fast and extending its lifespan! Windows usually runs this automatically in the background, but giving it a manual push is a great troubleshooting step if things feel slow. #PCTips #TechHacks #Windows10 #Windows11 #ComputerTricks

Daniel Kyoshiro :
Do not use this defrag on any kind of SSD, either for ones that run your Windows OS, to external SSDs that has only personal documents. As this can lower the health write span, as well as disrupt how the drive organises data also affecting its life span.. only use Defrag on Sata Hard Disk Drives, wether internal for ones that run Windows, to external.
