The mouth will close eventually as it stretches your soft tissue - you should stick with it.

Same and they don’t have a smaller size other than medium which doesn’t let me close my mouth either. Idk if it’s normal at first and your mouth will close eventually with continuous use or nah

Be sure to check out our skool community. The process is all about stretching tissue and as the tissue stretches it gets easier to keep the mouth closed.
