Nutty, mildly sweet. 🍯 Kkultteok (꿀떡) — bite-sized rice cake balls filled with honey or sweet syrup that bursts when you bite. 🎂 Jeolpyeon (절편) — smooth pressed rice cake, stamped with pretty flower patterns. Subtle flavor. 🌈 Mujigae-tteok (무지개떡) — steamed layered ”rainbow“ rice cake. Soft, lightly sweet, classic for celebrations. 🍡 Chapssaltteok (찹쌀떡) — soft glutinous rice cake filled with sweet red bean paste (similar to Japanese mochi/daifuku).
