It saddens me that people think Athena is the same as Minerva. It's known that they are two versions, but that was in the Roman version, not the Greek. I hate Minerva (Roman version), but not Athena (Greek version). And the Greek version predates the Roman one. The Roman version is an adaptation.

I hate the modern retelling of Medusa having been turned into a Gorgon. It's the equivalent of using Twilight Vampirism as the standard for vampire lore. Medusa was born a Gorgon, the story of her transformation/punishment was published centuries after her multiple original tellings.

If you’re gonna do the roman version, then tag her as Minerva. Greek Medusa never really suffered, she lived her life to the fullest and her death was painless.
