@radmartin_: Not my usual content… This is what is influencing young men on the internet… I know, it’s awful. It’s uncomfortable. It’s disgusting. The more we call this out, the less this is seen as acceptable behavior. Do NOT normalize this treatment. It’s scary that what’s seen in these clips isn’t rare. It’s laughed at, engaged with, and even encouraged. We need to hold these men accountable for their words and actions. To all of the women watching, I hope a man like this never finds you. You deserve to be treated with respect, love, and kindness. Your partner is your equal. It makes me angry that there are so many men who believe and spew otherwise. Love is respect. Love is safety. Love is consideration. Love is reciprocity. Love is appreciation. To all of the men watching, call this behavior out when you see it. Do not let it slide. Shame men when they flaunt their misogyny. Be a good influence on the young men in your life. Teach them to respect others and to see everyone as equals.
