My skin tells Dax when it’s time to call it before I need to. Numbing cream helps me stay comfortable for most of my appointment, but my skin likes to get angry in certain areas and just won’t take on ink very well after a certain point. But staying hydrated and well nourished prior and during the appointment always helps too!

for me the one time I had to tap out... My body physically hit a fight or flight response... The only thing I could think about was how I needed to get off that table and be somewhere else
