@crimenightly: A growing debate is unfolding around global alliances and the future of collective defense. Questions are being raised in Washington about long standing commitments and whether priorities are beginning to shift. At the center of the discussion is NATO, an alliance built on the principle that an attack on one member is considered an attack on all. For decades, this idea has shaped security across Europe and beyond. Now, concerns are emerging about what could happen if that unity weakens. Leaders across European capitals are reportedly considering alternatives, uncertain about how future support might look. The conversation highlights deeper questions about self reliance, global responsibility, and how power dynamics may evolve in the coming years. Moments like this show how geopolitical decisions can have far reaching consequences, impacting stability on a global scale. What do you think. Should alliances like this remain unchanged or adapt to new realities. #Politics #GlobalNews #NATO #World #Debate
I still have no idea what our benefit to NATO is... We come to their aid if there's a problem but they don't do anything for us... What kind of a deal is that? We don't need to be the police of the world...

jim :
We basically supply the military for NATO, while member nations send very minimal assistance. It's time for us to pull our military bases out of these countries. With our capabilities, we could put our troops anywhere in the workd in 16 hours.
