@thewanderingbeard2.0: On November 8th, 2005, Kenton Carnegie was working at a uranium mine in Northern Saskatchewan Canada. One day after his shift he decided to go for a walk out into the wilderness to a nearby lake. Despite his supervisor and fellow co worker advising him not to. When Kenton did not return from his walk, his Co workers went out searching for him and what they found was something of a nightmare. This is a true story. #truestory #truecrime #wolf #attack #wolves
The death of Kenton Carnegie in northern Saskatchewan in 2005 was a tragedy but it’s important to understand the full context... Also he was forwarned not to go out alone and with food
At the time, wolves in the area had been repeatedly exposed to unsecured garbage at mine sites, leading them to associate humans with food. There had already been concerns and warnings about their increasingly aggressive behavior.
When wild animals lose their natural fear due to human-caused attractants, the risk increases significantly. This wasn’t a “random” act of aggression it was the result of long-term human impact on wildlife behavior.
This is why proper waste management and respect for wild boundaries matter.

Poor man. I think there are some places in the world where you really need a local with you. I'm good in my own woods but other places I just don't have the knowledge base.
