Can you stop saying South Asian? It’s not “South asian” bandhani comes from a specific region in India, Gujarat and Rajasthan. There are no areas in Pakistan, Afghanistan, or Bangladesh that practice this craft. Saying “South Asian” erases the culture and the geographical specificity of this craft.
