Everyone can learn from this patient lovely waitress. It’s not hard to be nice.

Sharing your stutter makes such a difference! My therapist taught me this and it takes so much pressure off 🥲

Had a wonderful waiter the other day who also had a stutter. Your videos helped me to make sure I didn’t try to finish his sentences, always made direct eye contact, and waited for him to finish his thought. I could tell as the night went on he was more comfortable. Thank you for your videos!

It’s a shame this just isn’t the norm. You shouldn’t even have to explain yourself. 😞

I cannot imagine people who are rude to anyone with a stutter. My mom was bullied out of her class as a kid due to a stutter, it’s insane how people treat other people.

Sorry for the question, but I was wondering, should we finish your sentence to "help" you, or is it better to let you finish it yourself? I'd like to know if I'm ever talking to someone who stutters, so as not to hurt their feelings. 🙏🏼

I had an employee who stuttered and he would always apologize. I would always assure him that he never had to apologize and told him to take his time. It always sadden me that he felt he had to apologize.

A prior roommate of mine stuttered. I learned a lot about how to treat people and how everyone is different but yet the same. Rock on !

I work retail and sometimes find myself rushing through interactions and your videos have reminded me to slow down not only for myself but to allow others the time they need. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us!

I have a neighbor who stutters. He’s never brought it up and neither have I. I always just chat with him when we are out walking our dogs and just be kind.

I have a college-student employee who stutters and I’ve noticed him get more comfortable around my team the more he works with us. I also stutter at times, though I don’t know if he has noticed, so he has an extra special place in my heart.

I had a customer who had a bad stutter and I just talked to him like it's normal. I didn't treat him any different, I just waited, asked the usual questions and I noticed after he was done placing his order, he had this little proud smile. Like he seemed so pleased with himself and that made my day
