#tiktokviral #fyp #viralvideo #goviral #foryoupage If milk is coming out in the breast of a lady, and she's not pregnant, what can cause it and what is the solution to it? Symptom: One most women will secretly worry about in silence. And one that needs an honest explanation from the medical world. Medical term: There is a term for this. Galactorrhea. While scary to discover, it is actually relatively common and typically caused by issues that have easy treatment options available. Cause: Elevated prolactin levels. Prolactin is the hormone responsible for stimulating milk production in pregnancy and nursing. Produced by the pituitary gland, it is typically suppressed, other than during pregnancy and lactation. High levels outside of these windows stimulate milk production regardless of pregnancy or not. This begs the question of what would raise these levels. Causes: The possibilities are both varied and wide-ranging. Medications can be one major cause. Antipsychotics. Anti-depressants. High blood pressure medications. Metoclopramide used for nausea and vomiting. Some birth control pills. The elevation of prolactin occurs as a side-effect in many of these prescriptions but physicians fail to adequately warn the patients. An adenoma of the pituitary gland (a prolactinoma) represents the need for a very specific and urgent diagnosis. A small benign tumor within the pituitary produces excess prolactin continually. This is the most common form of pituitary tumor and usually easily treated with medications. Symptoms include irregular menstrual cycles, visual changes and headaches. Diagnosis via MRI and prolactin blood testing is relatively easy. Thyroid dysfunction, particularly hypothyroidism, stimulates elevated prolactin via a hormonal cascade of which most women are unaware. Hypothyroidism is diagnosed via TSH blood test and treatment results in resolution of the galactorrhea. Nipple stimulation, even from rubbing against fabric, triggers milk production through activation of the same neurological response as breastfeeding. Stress and lack of sleep can increase prolactin to a level triggering this condition. Persistent stress results in hormonal changes making this possible without any structural abnormalities. Treatment path: Visit your doctor right away and request a blood test measuring prolactin and TSH, as well as review all current medications. A high prolactin triggers an MRI. Once the cause is discovered, treatment is simple. Prolactinomas are easily treated with a drug regimen decreasing the size of the tumor and lowering prolactin levels. In addition, medication-induced symptoms resolve by modifying medications. Treatment of a thyroid issue solves cases caused by it. What should never happen: Waiting around and hoping it will go away without a visit to the doctor. While there was something I've been holding back sharing until now, I'll give you some warning. Once you learn it, you will wonder why no one ever told you this before. And you'll feel a mixture of relief and frustration that someone hasn't pointed you toward this site sooner. You'll experience the feeling of suddenly having a key to unlock the mysteries of women's health. What I am telling you is that it works. It exists. And the women who discovered it along their own journey describe a complete change in perspective when dealing with health issues. They suddenly understood what was going on in their bodies. They knew how to listen. They stopped fearing their own health issues. And they began understanding everything perfectly clearly. Nothing can ever be the same. Your body does not break down. It sends signals. Learn to interpret them. You will never fear them anymore. Just like this time.
