Yeah, Wives Under the Sea wasn't for me. people rave about it but I just didn't get it. now, Safekeep on the other hand ... that was a wonderful novel. I wouldn't call it smut, I'd say there's a love scene which is well written, but the plot is what drives. Oranges are not the only fruit is a classic, obviously. have you read A Thin Bright Line by Lucy Bledsoe?
