There are nooo good apartments here! You either have to choose between a cheap new build or an outdated 100 yr old apartment. The newer ones are all cookie cutter, terrible layouts, and aren’t homey at all. The older ones have more charm but need to be updated so bad 😭 My apartment is an older building with a great layout but it still has carpeted floors, gross kitchen and bathroom, no AC, etc.

my last apartment in Aurora was HORRID, I live near downtown now and it's 100× better... however... the longer im here the more I realize some stuff was build to be... kinda cheap lol, still a great place tho.

You're right! I came from Virginia and they were gorgeous. The ugliest apartments I've ever seen are in Denver.

YES!! WHYYYY are the cabinets two different colors?? My concrete ceiling is disgusting & baseboards flare out like particle board when they get wet. They’re all owned by the same companies idk where to go

We just rented a 1970s condo because we have to be in town for family for the next year😐 at least it has a view of Cheeseman Park. That’s all I can say it’s 3000 a month.

My ex lived in the Manhattan lofts on Bassett street and it was nice - especially 2 bedrooms. I had a bunch of friends live in west end too - both are in LodO

I do like the design and aesthetic of my building but it’s definitely cheap build quality. I got 12 weeks free though so it was cheaper than my last apartment even though it’s bigger

They also are haunted 😁 the brink from the red brick mansions were made by Garden of the Gods soil aka sacred native burial grounds.. just gets better
