I’ve honestly been noticing everyone is having a harder time finding work. I have two friends who’ve been looking for work in their field for close to two years, and another one who has been searching for a job for months. I know this might not work for someone with epilepsy, but a friend got her Pilates certification and is teaching groups and private clients now. Makes decent money, though her husband definitely helps. You can take the training online, which is easier than having to show up somewhere every week.

I'm fortunate with mine. I'm a diesel tech in Australia. Make good coin, and my employer is chill with me. The only bonus about my newly diagnosed epilepsy is that my neurologist said I can't do nights, and that suits me. Hate nights.

I have temporal lobe epilepsy, with focal seizures with loss of awareness. I also have a master’s degree. I have no job. I cannot get a job. The seizure clusters just make shit impossible.
