Someone that lives in Cheyenne, it is also important to note that while that is the median salary, there is a VERY large salary gap here. Most salary ranges are at or below 45-50K for the average person but the median is offset by the increase in tech we have here and their pay scale. Hourly rates are mostly

Cheyenne resident here. I appreciate your attention to detail. Quick heads up. I recieved my yearly assessment from the county assessor recently, my 2026 assessed value has dropped a bit from 2025, but my property taxes are going up by 30%

I bought my house 7 years ago in Cheyenne for 210k, it is now worth 360k. Pretty sad for people looking to buy. It would be a struggle for me to buy my house now.

I live in Cheyenne housing here is ridiculous. The homes that are $365,000 are literally dumps . You were not gonna find it home for under a half $1 million which is ridiculous.

I love Cheyenne! A lot of people from northern Colorado move to Cheyenne bc it’s more “affordable” compared to the ridiculously priced houses in Colorado.

Holly Ct is actually a nice part of town. I’m quite surprised you found a house in this area that’s reasonably priced. The housing prices here have gotten crazy in the last 6 years

I’m still saying Laramie and Cheyenne are extensions of Colorado, people can commute to FoCo for work. Try Casper, Gillette, Rawlins, or Rock Springs WY.

My partner is a real estate agent here. He said your analysis is pretty accurate☺️The lower priced homes require a lot of work to be done unfortunately.

I've watched a few of your videos in a row. what I'm noticing is people are trying to shop outside of what they can afford. you should try filtering cheapest properties first and then looking at them. just because there's not a appealing one right away doesn't mean there won't be one ever. I just bought bought 5 acres of land with a 35x100 barn that I'm currently framing out into a house for 90k in Nebraska. I make about 35k a year. I put 10K down. My payments are $600 a month. I got a 6% interest rate. I wanted to live in the country and build my own place. I could have easily bought a dozen houses for the same price that were livable.

I bought my house in Cheyenne in 2019 for $415k and sold in 2023 for $759k. The market is crazy there. Lots of CO and CA moving in 😬

I feel like a lot of us don’t live at Fe Warren but commute from Fort Collins. It’s too expensive near the base for larger families. Renting was terrible when we first moved here.
