There is only a 1 in 300 million chance of winning... She didn't understand what investing was, ironically, she thought it was gambling. Therefore she never invested in her retirement until much later in life (thanks to her kids 😉). Trying to get rich quickly is tempting (lottery, gambling, speculative crypto, etc), but the best way is the slow way. * Spending less than you make. * Investing regularly within tax-advantaged accounts like a Roth IRA (TFSA if you're in Canada). * Within these accounts, low cost funds (ETFs or mutual funds). * Increasing your income (promotions, job hopping, learning new skills, side hustles, etc). TLDR: Don't get your hopes up. The lottery is a waste of time... #finance #money #PersonalFinance #investing
