This, parents bring children into the world and so many are bad at parenting or don't parent at all. I grew up in such a toxic environment. I watched both my parents physically abused each other. My parents had horrible emotional regulation, even out in public. Children are impressionable. I struggle with my own regulation, I am unlearning, and relearning
