I think everyone expects something different from friendship. I have learned that I give a lot, but I can not expect others to do the same for me and it does not necessarily makes them a bad friend. It hurts tho sometimes and I am still learning how to deal with it. I just love to give and hope someday I will get it back in some sort of way, but I am not expecting it. I give to give, not to receive. Big sigh. Needed to get that off of my chest somewhere. Thanks for reading.

A true friend is somebody who checks up on you no matter what time of day it is no matter when it is they want to know how you’re doing a true friend when you have one you don’t make all the effort you’re not the one that’s always calling and checking in wanting to set stuff up to hang out or show up unannounced. You know a true friend is someone who will show up out of the blue who will just show up because I want to see how you’re doing and how life‘s treating you someone who calls and checks in with you no matter how stressful life can get and it goes both ways. If you’re truly their friend, you would do the same and there’s a lot of people out there that don’t have that you know there are people out there thinking hey this is one of my dearest friends, but the real question is if you disappeared and went off the grid for a month would they call? would they try to find you? Would they try to contact everybody? They could to figure out what’s going on and if you can’t stand there and go yes they would or yes they’ve done that that’s not a real friend that’s not even true friend. Everybody in this world wants to have a brother or a sister or that friend who you can laugh with who you can you know joke with and it not be offensive or like he said it can be and you don’t take it personally or seriously someone who keeps you grounded someone who respects you and is there for you through thick and thin just like a partner or a wife or a husband is, but they’re that other side to help you win you need them and I think that the hardest thing and the hardest part is accepting that and understanding that you’re not in control and there are people out there that have those friends and there are those out there who think they do and they don’t so I encourage you call on those friends put them through the test to see if they truly are a friend
