This happened to my hubby here in nyc. He was getting a lot of parking and toll tickets. He had to request an in person hearing with a traffic judge and luckily he had saved his receipt whn he turned in one plate and got new ones . He also requested a driving abstract from dmv. The tickets stopped.

I truly feel for her. This happen to me and I got a police report and the DMV said I still had to pay the ticket. 😡 Luckily it was one ticket but was expensive!

I don’t understand why this happens so much. A friend of mine was pulled over & car towed ($450 to get out.) Cop said he was driving on a suspended license, but he had his license re-enstated MONTHS prior.

I feel her pain. I kept getting court summons for a car I no longer owned. The car was destroyed by my old recycling company. I kept a nice paper trail and it took a year to get this matter cleared up.

Also seniors take letters and “collections” seriously. I wish she could get to relax and not worry about this big headache. Feel really bad she doesn’t feel comfortable traveling if she misses mail.

The license plate reader is reading her stolen plate on another car. The cops can pull the photo to see what kind of car it’s on, proving it’s not her car
