Not deaf, but is it like a bra? Like I’m only putting one on for a specific reason, and I’m only taking it off when I’m done for the day, and my day is not restarting after it’s off

i think it depends on your relationship with your hearing aids. I don’t rely on my hearing aids because i have family and friends who sign for me, and i find that my hearing aids affect my glasses wearing and i’m also easily overwhelmed. So i take my hearing aids off almost immediately after i’ve needed them. But that’s dependant on the situation

Wake up-> ears are in til bed. That is probably about ~15 hrs per day. I can’t actually imagine functioning without them.

I honestly only put them in when I know im going somewhere I'll have a hard time hearing or if my ear is muffled more that day. Since I only have low tone loss its overwhelming to hear EVERYTHING amplified.

I put them on for special occasions, usually anything that requires me leaving the house. One exception: working out because the sweat makes the hearing aids crackle. Only wearing them like this is NOT recommended, your way is better but I’ve just gotten lazier as I’ve gotten older. I do swear my contacts like you wear your hearings aids.

I dont normally wear them at home, if i go somewhere, or work, or if people are coming over ill put them in, but aside from that I want my silence lol

Mine only go in when I’m at home so I can watch n hear my shows n stuff, when I’m out alone they don’t go in, they go in when I get to my appointments if I’m by myself and they come right out then go back in when I’m back home

They're on any time I leave the house or watch TV. If I'm super overstimulated, sometimes I'll take them off as soon as I get home, even if it's during the day, but they're usually on until at least after dinner if I've put them on

I'll take mine off for literally anything lmao. mid conversation if I don't want to hear it. work bell is annoying. yeet. if it's really busy/important I'll forget that's something I can do though, but I do tend to take them off for lunch/a break at the least bc the magnet site is painful after awhile. I do have a safety strap so I don't put em all the way away though, just Off.

I used to wear mine 24/7 but now that im older i appreciate the silent world more , i go for walks and the gym without them , watch movies without them on , i only put them on when i go to work

I put mine in if I have to be social (class work etc) as soon as I’m home, they are out. I don’t like noise. My apartment sounds too loud with them in so if I’m in they’re out. I’ll put them back in when I leave

Yes if they’re in they stay in til bed, once in awhile if I don’t go anywhere on the weekend I skip wearing them the day.

I usually wear them until the end of the day(which for me is 6pm-7pm cause I’m at home). Then only time i take them off is to sometimes clean them or change the battery through out the day, or when I need to work out. But other than that I don’t think I take them off and sometimes I don’t even put them on 😅.

My rule is once the contacts come out and glasses go on, hearings aids come off😅 I can’t stand having that much behind my ears! But usually I don’t take my contacts out until the end of the day before showering. Sometimes I won’t wear either at all if I’m not leaving the apartment 🤣

I do not take them out because when i have them all day on and i take them off and later on i get sooo over overwhemeld. But when i haven’t whear them all day and i have to leave for the gym then i don’t put them on. I’m hard of hearing zo i have my amazing, verry expensive headphone and listen to some music. But when i know that i’m going to see people, then i have them on also by a day off. I’m sorry for my bad english, itsn’t my first language.
