I started because my mother passed away. She passed 2 years ago in May and now I have 150 plants, 3 IKEA cabinets, I’ve mastered alocasias, begonias and anthuriums and I have so much happiness and peace. I turned death into life. You’ve given me so much inspiration Britt. Thank you 🖤

I use to be scared they’ll die. But knowing the basic info of lighting, watering, and soil. It’s really easy. And your plants will show you what they need😌 I have 20 plants in my room alone now🤣🌱

lol once my son told me he was glad he wasn’t a plant because I can at least keep humans alive 🤣 now I have hundreds of thriving plants just took me a bit to get going!

My bestie LOVED plants, when she took her life I struggled with it baddd and decided to get into plants and it helped me out of depression so much. I now have 30 plants a year later and they bring me so much joy and make me think of my bestie in a positive way ❤️

I’m a new collector. For me I think it’s about nurturing something. My boys are in their 20’s now, I used to have 6 dogs and am down to 1 dog & 1 cat and my hubby. I volunteer at a dog rescue also. It’s fun to learn about plants! I name them and talk to them. They are my little buddies lol. It’s not a simple hobby, but is very rewarding when you put in the effort and enjoy the journey.

Yes in this journey for the past few months I think I get excited about actually knowing things. Like I’m now familiar to what kind of plants I’m looking at to know when to water and so much. Just started….life is really eating at me and I was always intrigued and enjoyed plants and one day just said fuck it and bought my first monstera. I’m so grateful to have something to pour my heart into and watching the things I love grow. I’m at number 4 within the past week and I want more 🥹💕
