I really suggest you add a smaller bird entrance since the invasive brown bird likes to steal nest because they can be territorial

Look into the bluebird houses without a hole. They look just like this but with a slit at the top under the overhang. This is mine. Might deter them a bit.

If you put a tube on outside they won’t come in. Look tube on blue bird house

we use Halo B gone sparrow spookers on our feeders. last year I started taking those weighted lines and hanging them on my boxes with a screw from the top AND it works. Hosp are terrified of those lines for whatever reason!

I had blue 3 eggs in a bird house and I never saw no baby birds. Does that means a sparrel got to the nest and unalive the eggs

Just saying almost no bird is safe certain sparrow species are invasive & take over other birds next. But blue jays are bad also they eat other birds eggs sometimes even their nestlings rare but happen at times.
