my native language is arabic and I can guarantee you if it wasn’t my mother tongue i would’ve never learned it 😭 it’s a beautiful language and I love it but to this day I struggle understanding arabic poems and stuff bc it’s that hard

I try DuoLingo Arabic too, but it never sticks. I think it would be better to learn in person from a native speaker. I am learning Italian just fine from the app, but I already know French and Spanish, which help so much. DuoLingo is best for stuff that isn't too different from English. Also, it takes too long on stuff like "he's a professor. The plate is dirty" and I still can't greet people, ask what time it is, or get directions.
