I remember I perm my hair in middle school. It took me a while to love who I am as a mixed girl. Growing up I had dark straight hair, as I got older my hair texture change when it’s wet it’s more fine curls then when it air dry it’s curly and wavy.

I have 3c/4a but the frizz will come and maybe one day you will be able to love your hair as is. Being fully black many would say I have “good” hair. I don’t like that term. I have learned to envy my curls. Went natural in 2010 and that was the first time seeing my curls.
