Kentucky girl here, Yellow mini for derby, pink for oaks. But you need different fascinators. Always always go big and bold for your hat choice. There are so many incredible milliners in Louisville that will make for a more stunning look.

Louisville gal here! 1st pink & 3rd pink are perfect for Oaks (Friday), yellow is amazing for derby, but I’d recommend a navy fascinator, it’ll make the yellow pop! Any dress below the knee that’s fitted would be a pain to walk around in, and even in the suites, it’s a lot of walking and stairs.
