I’d settle for people eating more fibre over having anxiety over eating pesticides. Although I fully understand your point, I get it, in an ideal world we’d all eat organic... but let’s be honest, we can barely afford groceries as it is.

100 ! fruits like bananas and oranges are fine because they have thicker skins. But berries the pesticides absolutely go through them..It just makes sense

I’m in Canada and know farmers and I was told that even buying organic ones isn’t perfect. They have an organic farm but neighbour non organic farms who spray, there is no way of stopping the spray from other farms blowing over onto their crops. Organic is much better but still not perfect at least here. It’s really sad.

In 2019 I ate organic. Now, I can no longer afford fresh produce. Sometimes I can afford frozen berries if they are on sale. I am not sure who can actually afford to eat well. Everything is poison. I hope to start a garden this year, but I can't afford soil...wish me luck!
