it's crazy how many teams and fans refuse to be fine with their new "franchise" QB being on the bench for a year or 2 two and then get mad when they don't pan out. QBs need development too. having Simpson sit behind stafford for a year or two will be so much better than rushing a rookie into a starting role when stafford retires. a lot of the best QBs sat for a bit before being the starter.
