I just got my 2 siblings out of a similar situation now I’m here teaching my 20 year old brother the importance of bathing daily and hoping that he will have friends and a normal life someday. I want them to know the way we grew up was NOT normal but that doesn’t mean you don’t deserve a good normal life! It’s heartbreaking frustrating and scary but I did know I made the right decision. I’m the estranged oldest of 6 and while I miss my parents too, there’s a heavy grief when it comes to my younger siblings. Being a big sister was my favorite role and not having that anymore is devastating. I’d do anything so have them back 😔💔
