That’s hard cause I love both franchises, but it’s not a fair comparison and the reason I’m going to sit here and say it’s not a fair comparison is this George Lucas not having a bunch of money for starting out did some amazing things to make visual effects actually work for the technology he had access to and the way he was able to bring that galaxy together is insane Peter Jackson’s storytelling and direction of how he directed them is amazing. They’re both great but it’s not fair to sit here and say one is better than the other one. They both got released at very separate times in history stories was what early 70s late 80s more or less but in the Lord of the rings didn’t come out until and I’m talking about Peter Jackson. The one everybody loves didn’t come out until what early 2000s so the time gap is way too drastic to sit here and try to compare both of them together.
