I will never be a “my kid would never” parent.. because yes they would.. even if it’s not their normal character, kids make mistakes & they say mean things. Great job parenting! We have to hold our kids accountable!

Excellent job mom. School counselor here…I wish more parents realized that we can acknowledge our children’s mistakes and correct them and that doesn’t mean they’re bad kids. They’re kids who are going to make mistakes and if we don’t have consequences for those mistakes, they turn into insufferable adults.

And that is when their friendship ended. When I couldn’t get thru to parents my kid was no longer allowed to be friends. You aren’t bringing out the best in each other so you can do without each other. Tell her to find someone that makes her want to be the best version of herself. You’re an amazing mom!!! Keep on the pedal!
