I felt the same way gave it a 7 only cause of nostalgia… jafaar carried the movie but the sculpt was terrible felt it was rushed and it didn’t give the audience the chance to grasp on to anything… should’ve been called Michael: Surviving Joe Jackson

I honestly can’t bring myself to go watch this movie because it’s going to feel like a sugarcoated version of what MJ actually went through in his music career. From AEG, to Sony, Branca and even knowing that MTV didn’t want to broadcast his MV at a time because of who he is and only caved in because of Walter Yetnikoff

I had a feeling the story might be thin basically a celebration of his music vs a strong story sharing a multifaceted perspective of who he was I haven't seen the film yet but based on the trailers I've seen it appears as you described.
