there's also the food situation. pork and fish were more abundant than beef in Japan. I don't know about current day, but in the past, beef was the most expensive meat.

Japan has every right to feel that way and to expect foreigners to adapt to the way of Japan. It should be that way in every country. The US is made up of many different cultures, the thing is is that we don’t force our culture onto any other person here. Shreya Law should be not different. The Muslims who practice it are not willing to change their beliefs so why should anyone who doesn’t believe in their practices have to conform to their ways, if doesn’t make sense.

That is how the United States used to be. They would allow so many immigrants in and then they would close the border down for approximately 20 years to allow people to assimilate then somewhere along the line that rule is abolished, and then the areas where the immigrants were started to look like a Third World country
