I did something similar to this, but with Yugioh. I only collect the dragons, so I printed off pics of them, and put them in a binder. If I find the real card, I replace the printed one with it. The printed ones also have a current price written on it so I get an idea of how much they’re going for if I find someone selling singles. Haven’t done it in a few years though as printer ink has gotten so much more expensive.
