True! What stopped me from reading the bible before is because I don't understand it, when I heard Johnny Chang said -- "just read the bible even if you don't understand it." I did that and something happened inside my heart. I'm now slow to anger, I have so much compassion to the people who used to trigger me. I pray for them instead. And I feel much closer to God now, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I just started reading the Bible this year month of February and it has truly transformed me spiritually. Praise be to God.

I lve been reading my nlt out loud. Don’t know why I do this. Never ever read any of my other books out louder . Strange!!!! But one thing I notice is if I’m not in a great mood or down or something. I make a beeline for my bible and I feel better, for some reason.

I’ve recently started writing out short verses, then memorizing them and reciting them during the day, and I feel closer to God doing this. I will ask God to show me the verse I need to see right now. Twice today I found two different verses in two different books…that were basically the same thing, like cross-referencing. I know this happens a lot in the Bible, but I’ve never actually come across them unless I was purposely looking for them. So cool!

very true ..I have been reading the bible on a daily basis..and I have really grown to understand and I feel transformed..my mind renewed and actually healed of some issue that I have had for the past ten years..i believe the holy spirit has been really working inside of me
