@reformedacres: Some morning chicken asmr 😉🐔 If you've ever wondered exactly what it entails to have free range eggs layers & meat birds, well here you go! At this time, we had egg layers, meat chicks, + broody mommas and their chicks...all the birds! We use a chicken tractor for our egg layers and broiler chickens, and this prevents me from needing to clean the coop floor...ever. I just move it to fresh ground every 1-3 days and voila, a clean coop! Chickens are soooooo easy to keep, even with having so many! This routine takes me about 20 minutes a day, and it really isn't much more work to have 60 versus 6.
