7pm school night latest 7:30pm but sometimes they fuck about so much and don’t actually fall asleep till like 8/8:30pm. But yes I don’t want them up later as they always get up super early regardless what time and I need a break n to get my shit in order!! That’s my time!!! Weekends I let it slack a bit but if I feel I need time to myself that earlier bed time comes out 😏 they don’t even know 😂

I'm in Darlington UK and the sun is setting here about 9pm. Bedtime is bedtime, especially on a school night, no matter the outdoor lighting 😂

I agree with you. They need their sleep and you need time to yourself. I had 4 kids and I kept the routine and an hour later at weekends

I have a almost 4 year old and her bedtime is 6.30-7ish I feel like it’s a normal bedtime for kids, if she went to bed at like 8-9pm she’d be shattered the next day😭

my sons definitely went to bed at 7.30/8pm. my daughter however is riddled with ADHD and is never ever tired. I have literally never seen that girl nodding off tired in her life. so attempt getting her down at 9.30/10pm ish 😭 not ideal obviously for an 8 year old, but any earlier is just pointless and frustrating for her.
