Everyone at my work is neurodivergent and I’m so thankful. They let me work from home when my son was diagnosed with autism so I could home school him.

I started a new job this year and my boss is amazing. When I had some issues with deadlines at first I was so worried that I was in trouble. Instead she talked to me about ways she can help keep me accountable and she sends calendar invites for important deadlines. We have weekly check ins as well. Sometimes it’s just a hey how are things and we chat and other times there are things I need to know that are coming up. It’s been a breath of fresh air and I don’t feel like I’m constantly drowning.

Nothing but cons. Every time I’ve mentioned it it’s been used as a weapon against me. I’m facing eviction because I am neurodivergent. Autism and ADHD and apparently that is a lease violation.
