My brain cannot compute this logic. If I enjoy something but I know my husband will not, how could I expect him to react the same? And if he did, out of ‘compromise’ or ‘because that’s what he should do’ then it’d be worse because I’d know he was faking it. So, instead, we’d do things we BOTH like. It’s literally that simple. I’m happy he’s happy in that he finds things he enjoys, but please, doesn’t mean I have to!
